the hefty handle/lock mechanism for the BikeLid. when I was there, on a pleasant late evening in mid-October, all the BikeLids were locked and empty. the plastic is very interesting stuff, semi-translucent and full of flecks of different shades of gray, somewhere between granite and Texasware in appearance.
