This is the Disaster of the Month. I was amused by the simple way that heart patterns can be raked... so I tried some valentine's day beads. These two are just plain hideous. The one on the left is typical of my attempts to put a white core under clear -- the core distorts and gets ugly. The one on the right is hard to explain, but the idea was to have hearts floating in a snowstorm of mica. The end result is quite awful.
