Flying Bowling Pin

This is the "flying bowling pin", an abstract winged thingie. I got interested in the possibility of making bird-like wing shapes, and the idea was to make the body out of ghostly dichro (clear dichro stringer encased in plain clear).

Unfortunately the dichro, as usual, burned out while I worked the piece. It lost all its colour and became veils of white scum. So it's rather a sad little bowling pin, but I still rather like the wings.
