Chunky CZ

I tried two methods of smashing cubic zirconia. One was by brutal bashing with a hammer. The other was by thermal shock. These chunks were made by thermal shock. They're embedded in clear over a central core of black. The result is more lie a science museum exhibit than a bead, perhaps, but (despite a couple of bubbles) the encasing is clean and there are no cracks. In bright sunlight these CZ chunks will sparkle rather nicely. In indoor light they are not too exciting.
