Fractured CZ
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
This bead has chunky cz embedded in a clear core, with a delicate raked pattern on the outside. The idea was that the CZ would appear to float inside a filigree "cage" of raked design. The reality was that the whole bead fractured. I put too much CZ in it, and I think the biggest problem was that a couple of pieces grazed the outer surface instead of being completely encased. Anyway, it's a pretty bead, but most of the rainbows inside are from fracture lines, not from the CZ. A sad story.
