Bench V Middle

You see here also my new Venetian blinds -- aluminium of course, not PVC!). They keep the sun out pretty well, but at certain times of the year it does hit the back of the bench.

In the black (plastic) bowl at the right is a scrap of old T shirt kept wet. I use this for wiping pixie dust beads. The hot plate and its pie pan are lurking behind the rod jar on the right.

In the top of the tool box are film cans and little screw top jars full of all that weird stuff we love to play with -- pixie dust, mica, little bits of dichro, gold and blue avventurina frit, green avventurina in chunks, mille -- everything except the precious metal foils which I keep indoors (just in case of unwelcome visitors).

I've turned the big rod stand 90 degrees now, and find I like it better that way. For one thing, I can use the space under it for long tools.
