I admired Gerry's "roses" beads and she generously told Blowout attendees how she makes them. My stringer technique sucks bigtime, as they say, so I decided to sit down and practise "gerry beads," or at least my poor copies thereof, to improve my technique and reinforce what I learned from her. These are my inferior "off-brand" copies of Gerry's nice floral/sculptural beads, and they taught me a lot about stringer control and precise distances from the flame. I have a whole new respect for Gerry's hand/eye coordination after trying this!
