I spent a happy few hours one day designing and pulling multicoloured stringer. I'm so glad that I can now pull decent stringer -- more or less uniform, no angel-hair, good colour control, and all that. But I still end up with those little "horns" or "drops" on the ends when I run out of arm length (even holding one end between my feet, I'm just not very tall! So quickly, before they cool, I take the messy leftovers and wind beads out of them -- wild random stripy beads. Waste not want not. See the nasty scum on that bead on the far left? Ouch!
