This is the bottom, and a sin is revealed here. I couldn't get the last pontil mark to flame-polish off, and I was terrified of cracking the piece (after spending an hour on it); so I left the little blebs there and (gasp) ground them off when it was cold. Heck, it's just the bottom. I also signed it with a diamond scribe (you can see my messy little "DE 01" at the top).
