Here's the ground-off back. The hanging loop was very lumpy where it connected to the body of the piece, which was why I ground it off. Attaching the hanger was a nightmare, with the loop flopping around and taking on the wrong shape and constant fear of cracking the whole piece (it does, on close inspection, have one tiny crack at the opposite edge from the hanger).
