This is the "golden bowling ball," a pure black marble with ostentation chunks of goldstone dotted all over it. Unfortunately the goldstone is suspended in clear glass, and the clear glass displaced the black glass, with a little dustiness (not enough to be called scum, but noticeable) where the two came together. So despite good roundness and nice sparkle, this marble just doesn't quite make it -- the surface always looks a little dirty.
