More spirals; this hot triskelion-like design was done on the slightly less ruined side of the Uuugly marble. I may yet throw it back in the cooker and try spiraling the ugly side to see if the disastrous "map" effect over there can be ameliorated. The centre of any one of these spirals would make a good new pole.

These were done with the red stringer method, not the metal mandrel method. Hence the hot red dots in the centres.
