This marble I call the Raku marble because of the weird thing that the Moretti turquoise opaque stringer did when cooked. It went all matte, with some metal-salt type iridescence like raku-ware. The rest of the marble is gloss -- black and cream -- so the effect is startling and I was not very pleased. The matte texture also was nasty to work in the mold.
