Now this is the kind of thing that doesn't enhance one's reputation, but since I am still a beginner I can cop to it in public. This pole of the Raku Marble is just plain nasty. The stringers overlapped and made a mess, and I didn't twist it off right. Note the discolouration in the cream glass. I am not sure whether this is a reaction to the weird chemistry taking place in the turquoise glass, or whether the cream is actually scorched.
