Darn, this is not quite in focus. This is a very small but rather cute marble, fairly round but with a bad, irregular surface and some crazing. What you can't see in this pic is that it is actually rather charming despite its amateur finish. The body is a fine blend of two greens, a yellowish and a slightly bluish green -- they were kneaded and twisted into a colour with very fine striations, and a sort of celadon quality. The stripes are blue aventurine and have a nice sparkle. The whole marble looks somehow like asian pottery.
