Picture 011

Here is the flagship of the cheap ABS storage systems: this one has a lazy susan turntable so I can get at all the different compartments. It would have been even better if I could have staggered the floors of the tubes vertically, so as to raise up the rods in the center -- maybe a future enhancement :-)

The lazy susan turntable is hacked with a jigsaw out of an old piece of leftover plank, and a slice of another old plank forms a square base. The turntable bearing race is a packaged doodah that you can get at any good hardware store for about $12. A little measuring, a little cutting, 8 woodscrews and a little glue for good luck, and you're in business.
