GIMP baby step 3
The debate rages on: is GIF better? Is JPG better?
I'm still figuring it out. JPG is not lossless --
the noise can get ugly. But the indexing that GIF
requires can give your image a strange cartoony
quality. I end up saving in both formats.
This image is nothing special, I just took an old
digital photo (jpg format) of myself and put it
"underwater." No groaning or growling at all.
I knew what I wanted to do and how to make the
tool do it.
