The proof is in the pudding -- or rather, in the pudding, fresh fruit, canned soup, soda, bread, cat food, and other groceries. Here is the Free Radical on its return from the maiden voyage to the grocery store. I bought four standard bags of groceries. They fitted comfortably into the FreeLoaders, two on each side. It was a little tricky slipping them into the slings, but I think this will become easy with practice. The bags are pretty well supported, and (unlike some trailers I have known) there aren't really any sharp or pointy frame members poking into them to bruise the peaches or break the eggs. The bags seemed fairly secure despite their "relaxed" ride in the hammock-like slings.
